Hi,
There was what I thought an excellent programme on TV on Monday here in the UK on Channel 5.
It's called "Sex, Lies & Hypnosis" and the resident hypnotherapist is Ursula James.
The first programme was about a young couple who have a daughter and who just seem to have constant arguments, so much so that the woman moves out of the home and into a women's refuge.
They both agreed to attend hypnotherapy sessions with Ursula individually in London. In their separate sessions they are hooked up to brain monitors and their output is seen and remarked on how it calms down when they enter hypnosis.
From edited highlights of the session, it looks like Ursula encourages them to recall, sometimes they experience revivification, of a past event where they were?both treated badly and it is clear their current behaviour was caused by these past events.
After the sessions are complete they got back together and the at the end of the programme it was reported that they are both still happy.
I thought the programme was a great advertisement for the positive benefits of hypnotherapy and showed how simple it can be applied by a confident hypnotherapist.
Best wishes
Steve Harold
